Zombie Wranglers
Zombie Wranglers for sale internationally sometime this year (2009). There are a lot of release dates though. Initially, it was supposed to be released on 2008. But due to the game’s publisher, Sierra Online and its integration with Activision Blizzard the release of the game was put on hold. The long awaited game has a lot of release dates. The next release date is on May 6, 2009. The long wait might conclude if the game will be released by then. In the meantime, Zombie Wranglers review would not be available yet as well as used Zombie Wranglers Xbox 360 copy. Reliable sources indicate though that the May 6, 2009 would be a sure release date.
You play one of the suburban tweens in Zombie Wranglers. There is only one task: to rid your community (Potters Field) of the unexplainable zombie outbreak attack before it is too late. It brings so much chaos; officials are forced to quarantine the whole neighborhood. Each of the four gallant apprentice wranglers has their own unique upgradeable abilities and powerful weapons to accomplish the ultimate goal. The future lies in the hands of these four young quirky apprentices. The plot might not be new but the game environment is different so it might be worth the try. (more…)

1 vs. 100
There are various game shows that have been turned into video games. One of the most popular game show that had a video game counterpart is Family Feud. Family Feud had a video game counterpart on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), which is the most primitive video game console. Another game show that had a video game counterpart is the “Who Wants to be a Millionaire?”, which was first seen on the Sony Playstation and later on the PC and even on the Nintendo DS.
At present, a new game show that has become immensely popular in the United States is coming to the XBOX 360 as part of the just announced XBOX Live Primetime. What game show is this? It’s 1 VS 100! 1 VS 100 is a popular game show developed by Endemol. Microsoft Game Studios published the video game version of 1 VS 100 for the XBOX Live Primetime. 1 VS 100 is also available on the Nintendo DS. How do you play 1 VS 100? 1 VS 100 is a game that pits one player against 100 contestants, known as the Mob. The goal of the player is to eliminate all of the 100 contestants to win the jackpot. To eliminate the contestants, the player must answer each question correctly. Each question has three choices. There is also a certain amount of prize for each question answered correctly. The amount of prize is multiplied by the number of mob members that answered the question incorrectly and the product is added to the player’s winnings. The mob members that answered incorrectly are also eliminated from the game. The player can also choose to walk away and take his winnings home anytime. But if the player chooses to play on, he will be forced to answer the next question. If the player answers incorrectly, he will go home with nothing. The Is Vegas
Surreal Software, the brains behind the successful video games series The Suffering and Drakan, is set to release their latest offering this 2009, THIS IS VEGAS. Together with publisher Midway Games, THIS IS VEGAS will be available in the market in XBOX, PS3 and PC versions.
The game is set, as the title implies, in the city of Las Vegas. All the elements that one can find in Vegas have been incorporated into the game. The developer of the game have described it as an action game for the mature playing crowd due to the plots and subplots that have been injected into the game’s storyline. It combines the elements of character growth and empire building to produce realistic scenarios that one can only find in Vegas. (more…)

Stoked
Stoked on sale on January 2009 is a snowboarding game published by Destineer and developed by Bongfish GmbH, in conjunction with Absinthe Films. Stoked is another extreme sport genre that gamers would want to add to their library. The cinematic view from the snowy mountaintops, dizzying slopes and heights are not enough to take any gamers breath away. Much of the in-game features are taken from real life, from famous snowboarders to real world mountains.
FEATURES:
The game’s setting is based on five real-world mountaintops. Snowboarding aficionados will now have the chance to live out their fantasy snowboarding experience in the best locations, even if in game only. Every inch of the snow mountain top can be explored. There are also different helicopter points to discover and choose from. The weather and environment within the game continually change as the days go by. (more…)

Red Faction: Guerilla
Red Faction Guerilla is video game that is multi-platform and is developed by Volition Inc. It is published by THQ and will be released in 2009. This is the third installment of the Red Faction series. Red Faction: Guerilla features a third-person point of view. This is different from the other Red Faction games that were released earlier. Earlier games were played through a first-person perspective.
The third installment of the Red Faction series was announced in February 2009. Only the basic details were declared then. Rick White, the producer at Volition, showed a demo of the game at the E3 gaming expo that was held in California. A multiplayer beta version was released for Microsoft in order to get feedback. It was also a way for the manufacturers to see what should be done in the game. (more…)

Defense Grid
Computer video games under the Tower Defense or TD genre, is one of the most popular types of real-time strategy games. The primary objective of all TD games is to prevent the enemies from infiltrating the home base by building towers around it that will serve as its perimeter defense. It is the goal of the player to defend his area of responsibility by carefully strategizing where the different towers will be positioned to provide maximum security defense.
The latest TD game to hit the gaming scene is Defense Grid: The Awakening by Hidden Path Entertainment. The PC version of the game was released last December 8, 2008 while the XBOX version will be available anytime this year. (more…)

Bionic Commando
Bionic Commando is the seventh console installment from Capcom. This is an adventure-platform that has been in the market for a long time. Capcom is the developer, as well as the publisher of the game. This was made possible with the collaboration of GRIN, a Swedish developer that is also responsible for the video game Ballistics, as well as the Microsoft version of Ghost Recon. The game is the sequel to the second. It is Bionic Commando the remake and rearmed. These games were released for the NES in 1988.
Capcom will release the game on Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. A Wii version is possible but this has not been confirmed yet. Therefore, fans just have to wait for the go signal. The release date of Bionic Commando is on February 13, 2009. (more…)

Alpha Protocol
Alpha Protocol is a third-person role playing game from the action genre that is developed by Obsidian Entertainment. It is published by SEGA. The game centers on CIA field agent Michael Thornton and his adventures as a rookie.
The plot starts from a mission that goes awry. Michael Thornton could not interact with his contacts. His superiors betrayed him and the United States government is hunting him. As a response, Michael turns to the Alpha Protocol. This is reserved for senior agents. He operates undercover and discovers conspiracy after conspiracy. (more…)

50 Cent: Blood On The Sand
50 Cent: Blood on the Sand on sale on February 2009 is the sequel to 50 Cent: Bulletproof. Once again, avid 50 Cent fans or action genre players can assume the role of hip-hop superstar 50 Cent. The game is developed by Swordfish Studios and published by THQ. This fast paced action shooter is sure to deliver hours of exciting game play and combat action scenes. 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand for sale for Playstation 3 and XBOX 360.
Like the previous title, players will assume the role of 50 Cent. The setting is a fictional Middle Eastern neighborhood ripe with gun-toting goons. The general objective is to collect your payday and exact revenge on your enemies. Players are faced with the challenge of dodging bullets, firing at enemies in creative angles and looking for appropriate hiding spots. In addition to firing and dodging, players also have the option to engage in hand to hand combat. The close range combat allows for more variety in the game play. The interactive counter-kill system allows you to finish off your enemies on your own way and style. This allows for a more personalized combat action. (more…)

Tomb Raider: Underworld
The most well – loved of all video game heroines is back with a new mission on the Xbox 360. This time she is out to prove the existence of the fearsome weapon of the Thor, the much celebrated god of thunder in Norse mythology. This weapon is said to be only a myth for many generations until our hero uncovers evidence that it is indeed true and larger – than life. This leads to a journey like no other as Lara attempts to learn the truth behind the secrets of the myths while travelling in different exotic locations and encountering different kinds of foes and friends and alike.
This sequel offers more perks and enjoyable additions from Tomb Raider: Legend which was released last 2006. Here, Crystal Dynamics has really done a good job of creating a more visually enticing world that is so vivid that it feels so real and life-like. Each location offers exciting details as well as graphic outputs. Any gamer would feel that they are actually present in the game especially with the very colorful landscape which is depicted right down to the tiniest drops of water and the vaguest shadows and lights. Also, Lara has evolved to the point where she is more real as compared to the 3d doll that she had become in some of the early versions of the game. (more…)
