Ninja Blade
Ninja Blade is an unreleased action-adventure game under development exclusively for Xbox 360. It is being developed by From Software, developers of the Otogi series. The game is categorized under Cinematic action game. The game combines a mixture state-of –the-art cinematic scenes with context-sensitive commands. People can expect impressive graphics when Ninja Blade sale kicks off this year.
Setting
The game is set in modern day Tokyo. The story starts with the mysterious appearance of alpha worms. They caused waves of human destruction as they spread towards the east until they reach the shores of Tokyo. This prompts the formation an elite team having specialized abilities that is set to eliminate the parasites. The goal of the game is to save mankind from complete destruction. (more…)

Ghostbusters
The movie Ghostbusters, which made its successful big screen debut on June 8, 1984, is considered to be one of the most exciting and exhilarating ghost action adventure movies of all time.
Twenty-five years after, a video game version of the hit movie is about to be released in the market and is expected to generate the same feeling of excitement and exhilaration for the gaming public. Video game development and production companies namely Terminal Reality, Red Fly Studio and Zen Studios are set to release their own versions of the hit movie-turned-video game anytime this year. Terminal Reality will be developing the PC, PS3 and XBOX 360 versions while Red Fly Studio will release the PS2 and Wii versions. The Nintendo DS version will be the responsibility of Zen Studios. Fight Night Round 4
Who wouldn’t want to see Muhammad Ali slugging it out with Mike Tyson? That has been a long-time dream of almost all boxing fanatics from all around the globe. And now the dream has become a reality. Thanks to EA Sports latest offering – Fight Night Round 4.
Fight Night Round 4 is the much-awaited fourth offering of the successful boxing video game series. It’s successor, FN 3 garnered huge success since its release in 2006. FNR4 is set to be released sometime in July of this year with video game versions both from XBOX 360 and PS3.
Fight Night Round 4will feature a number of boxers from the different divisions headed by heavyweight legends Iron Mike Tyson, Muhammad Ali and Lennox Lewis together with middleweight superstars Winky Wright and Sugar Ray Leonard. Damnation
Steampunk will certainly become much cooler with this upcoming video game release from Blue Omega Entertainment and Codemasters. Damnation, which is set upon a futurized American civil war theme, is a shooter game mixed with fair amounts of platforming. This means that the gamer will spend most of his time shooting down waves upon waves of enemies while transferring and jumping from one place to another. This is guaranteed to provide some form of excitement especially for those who are fans of games like Tomb Raider and Max Payne. And they will not wait for long for a Damnation sale is said to be expected upon its release on March 2, 2009.
Gamers will get to play as Hamilton Rourke, the leader of a group of rebels who are keen on stopping a wealthy and powerful industrialist from eradicating the Union and Confederate forces. You will be able to make use of a wide variety of weapons in order to accomplish this objective. Aside from that, different kinds of vehicles are also at your disposal from motorcycles to tanks. Afro Samurai
Can you help Afro Samurai become the number one warrior? Afro Samurai, developed by Namco Bandai and published by Surge is a third person action game based on the action anime Afro Samurai. Players will assume the character of Afro and help him fight his way to becoming “Number One”. Help him fight his way through groups of ninjas, assassins and samurais. Fans of the action genre will get more than just the slice and dice action typical of sword fighting games. Catch Afro Samurai on sale on late January 2009.
PLOT
Afro Samurai is based on the anime of the same name. In this fictional samurai world, there are two powerful bands that endow its owners with god-like fighting abilities. The “Number One” band is the most powerful, thus making its owner the top fighter in the world. He can only be challenged the owner of the “Number Two” band who must, at least, match his god-like prowess. The story will revolve around a black samurai with a prominent hairstyle. Afro, aptly named for his signature hairstyle, is on a quest to become “Number One”. Justice, the current “Number One”, can only be challenged by the wearer of the “Number Two” band. Resident Evil 5
Chris Redfield is back and he is with one hot local chick. After 10 years of absence, the Resident Evil brings back its first lead man in its fifth offering. Resident Evil 5, scheduled to be released on the first quarter of 2009, promises another hard-hitting, action-packed, and liters of blood spilling shooting game for you to enjoy. It will have the same feel of the gameplay and control as the previous series at the same time showcases ground breaking developments.
The sequel to Leon S. Kennedy mission picks up from where they left off in Resident Evil 4. This time Chris is en route to Africa to investigate a spread of viral infection. No longer a part of his old team in STARS (Special Tactics and Rescue Service), he is now giving service to Bioterrorism Security Alliance or BSSA. Star Ocean
Star Ocean, the hit game series developed by tri-Ace and Enix, comes up with another installment which will delight every gamer who is quite hooked with science fiction action. The new game, Star Ocean: The Last Hope, is primarily developed for the Xbox 360. Most people await the release of this installment because of the promising features that it brings.
The Star Ocean franchise takes on a similar story such as the classic Star Trek. The NCAA Basketball series has again released another installment which will excite the athlete in you. The NCAA Basketball 09 is the perfect ball game for those who really love shooting hoops even in the virtual world. This game re-lives the excitement that one has felt as a spectator of the most awaited games in college history. EA Sports will publish this upcoming game, and surely enough, more and more people will become hooked with this incredible basketball game.
Kevin Love, who is now playing for the Minnesota Timberwolves, is featured in the cover of the game.
