Darksiders: Wrath of War

Take on the power of a god as gamers play the role of one of four horsemen of the apocalypse in Darksiders: Wrath of War. The horseman in question is War, who is wrongly accused for the early setting off of Armageddon and is sent to earth without any powers in order to investigate the early occurrence of the apocalypse. Together with his trusty steed, ruin, War sets off to seek revenge against those who blackmailed him, gain all of his powers and seek answers all at the same time. Availing of a Darksiders: Wrath of War for sale will enable gamers to do all this and more in this release from Vigil games and THQ.
Designer Joe Madureira has compared the game to the Legend of Zelda especially with all the weapons and power – ups that War can acquire through out the game. This is in addition to his godlike powers which he will be able to reacquire as he battles different kinds of demonic forces all through out this stunning post – apocalypse world where everything is in chaos and mayhem. However, critics and journalists have compared it to God of War and Devil Cry because of the similar type of gameplay involved like the use of different kinds of weapons and attack combinations. Project Origin

Project Origin

Monolith Productions has done one satisfying deal again. F.E.A.R., one of the best games that ever came into mind has come with Project Origin, the apt sequel to the gripping suspense game. Just like the previous game, Project Origin continues the story of Alma, a girl with psychic abilities. She has innumerable powers which she uses against people who have done her wrong. This causes an ultimate disaster for the people around her, as it escalates into a crisis which is paranormal in nature, threatening to replace what is real with her own concept of reality. The previous F.E.A.R allows one to play as the Point Man, who wears a uniform that completely hides his face from view. This time around, Project Origin features the character Michael Becket, who works as a Delta Force operator. This new character, will receive a reflex power just like the previous protagonist because of undergoing a surgery.

The story of Project Origin promises to have more thrilling excitement where the previous game has taken off. A lot of questions which has been left unanswered in the previous game will be dealt with in Project Origin. Furthermore, the kinetic gunplay present in the previous installment will be added with an extra hype in this sequel. Lead designer of the game, John Mulkey affirms that every action that the previous game has will be included in this sequel, but with an added twist and suspense. The narrative, which was quite blurry in the first game, will now be further developed without sacrificing the mystery that the story promises. (more…)

World in Conflict: Soviet Assault

The long agonizing days of waiting for new World in Conflict game are almost over. The release for the World in Conflict: Soviet Assault is set on first quarter of next year, after a number of news about cancellation.

This time you will get the Soviet perspective of the game taking the offense as oppose to its previous offerings where you majority play on U.S army side. The single-player campaign, created by Larry Bond (co-author of Red Storm Rising and collaborator to Tom Clancy), takes you to a trip from Europe’s magnificent cityscape to American turf as you make Soviet’s presence felt from land, to sea, and up in the air.
