Halo Wars is a real-time strategy video game that is set in Halo Universe. The game was designed by Ensemble Studios and owners of Xbox 360 will definitely enjoy this. This is the last project that was developed by Ensemble Studios.
Halo Wars uses vehicles and species that were seen in the earlier Halo games. The units in the previous games are also featured here. The A-button selects the 3 methods: you can tap to choose one unit, tap twice to choose a particular unit, or select all the units of a specific class on the screen. You can also paintbrush the selected unit by dragging the brush over.

Selecting the unit allows the gamer to command and to choose buildings by bringing up the circle menu. This is the most important menu in Halo Wars. It takes up the whole screen. This is used to create buildings, as well as units. Graeme Devine, the lead developer of Halo Wars said that there is more focus on the combat in the game than the economy. The gamer must manage the battle he is in, instead of merely watching it.

There are resources and there are alternative forms like the units present and time.
Some campaign missions will also concentrate off the resources. However, multiplayer matches and skirmish still need the gamer to manage the economy. The demo for Halo Wars will be released on February 5 in the United States. As seen in the trailer, the story takes place 20 years before Halo: Combat Evolved. This is the predecessor of Halo Wars. Seven characters have been declared: These are Captain James Cutter, Sergeant John Forge, Serina, and Prophet of Regret, Alice a SPARTAN, Professor Anders, and an unknown Arbiter.
Halo Wars was announced in 2006. The first details of the game appeared on the website of 1UP.com. A small demo of the game was launched at the gaming media on July 10, 2007 at the E3 2008. The demo video was narrated by the Lead Designer of Halo Wars and was released on the Xbox Live Marketplace. That was on August 27, 2007. Since the previous console needed real time strategy games were critiqued for control schemes, Ensemble developed Halo Wars control scheme six months before they even approached Microsoft.
Bungie Studios had little involvement in Halo Wars. Because of the split between Bungie Studios and Microsoft, Bungie helped Ensemble Studios and Ensemble Studios alone to develop the game. Microsoft, on the other hand, was responsible in the areas which include the general feel of the environment in Halo Wars.
The lead designer, Graeeme Devine, narrated the video of the game play. Later this was uploaded on line. The controls and other features of the game like the vehicles, use special weapons and interface were highlighted, including the new creations in Halo Wars that weren’t in the first game. Ensemble Studios completed the game on September 10, 2008.
The Halo Wars franchise is known for its music. It is composed by Stephen Ribby who is also responsible for the music of all the Age of Empires games. He was concerned in keeping the feel of the music in Halo Wars.
