Sacred 2: Fallen Angel
Another classic RPG game Sacred 2: Fallen Angel on sale for the PC platform worldwide. Like any other RPG it is mostly a cycle of kill enemies and grab the loot. There are a lot of side quests though that may keep you away from the tedious cycle process from time to time. Keep on reading if you want to get to know the game better: the Sacred 2: Fallen Angel review.
The world is humongous, waiting for you to explore and unravel the secrets. This can also bring some headache and extreme annoyance as you will mostly waste your time going from one place to another when completing quests. There are times you would think that you would rather spend some time killing enemies than wasting your time travelling. The teleportation system is lacking in the gates where it usually is supposed to be. There are a lot of quests that you would feel would contribute something to the plot, but then it leads you to somewhere different or out of place. Only those few quests that have a connection to the story would keep you interested.

What it lacks in plot makes it up with the good traditional game design. The visuals and audio adds more effect to the game design. Every town or city you visit is detailed. It can be a problem at times as the design can sometimes bring confusion. There is a lot of impassable terrain so you should check your map often so as to not get lost. There is a wide variety of enemies and monsters, each uniquely designed that separates them from one another.
Audio and sound effects lets you feel the game more. Background music is suited for the given situation and the sound effects are realistic. The game may have good sound effects but it also has some corny commentaries like “My statistics continue to improve” are typically shouted by heroes after a hard fought battle.
The game lets you choose from six different characters before starting your adventure. Like any other RPG, you can choose which of your character’s attributes you are going to improve and match it with a weapon and item that will produce your own unique hero. Each character class has its own special abilities. Combine this special ability to your enhanced attribute, weapon of your choice and items that will assist you throughout, you can instantly end battles even those large groups of enemies. Special attributes cannot be regenerated using mana. Special abilities revive by itself and is dependent on your skill level and by the use of magic runes.
The game is still buggy as your character can sometimes get stuck on some scenery or fall through the floors. Sometimes, even though you have killed an enemy, the animation of attacking you still won’t stop. The artificial intelligence sometimes is not intelligent. Your allies instead of helping you might welcome more damage to your party. When encountering graphical problems, the most common solution is to save and reload the game. Most likely everything will be okay afterwards.
