Halo 3: ODST

“Halo 3: ODST” is a standalone game expansion for Halo 3. Instead of playing the usual Master Chief role that has super human abilities, the player will be playing the vulnerable ordinary soldier of United Nations Space Command. ODST stands for Orbital Drop Shock Trooper. The key objective of ODST is to escort the soldier throughout the ruins of Mombasa to discover what went wrong to his lost teammates. When the ODST finds a piece of evidence left behind by a missing soldier, a flashback is prompted and the player takes up the role of the lost soldier. You will know more of this when Halo 3: ODST sale starts later this year.

Setting
ODST is set to take place in the year 2552 at the Halo universe. This corresponds to the events of Halo 2. During this time, the major characters of Halo 2 are on the ring world known as Delta Halo.
