Announced last April 17, 2009, you and any other gamer out there will be able to buy The Beatles Rock Band, the latest addition to the Rock Band franchise which has revolutionized the rhythm gaming industry, will come out in September in North America, UK and Europe. The Beatles Rock Band review shows that the game will be available on multiple platforms, namely the Nintendo Wii, Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and of course, Sony’s Playstation 3. It is also worth noting that when The Beatles Rock Band on sale on September 9, 2009 or 09/09/09, gamers can buy the stand alone game or part of a Rock band package which includes the basic controllers such as the Ludwig drum set, a bass designed by Sir Paul McCartney himself and a microphone, everything you need to rock out just like the legendary band three decades ago. Furthermore, most of the existing Rock Band controllers will be compatible with this game to the delight of those who already have a set. The Beatles Rock Band limited edition guitars will also be available in due time.

Reports have it that The Beatles Rock Band for sale bundle will cost more than two hundred dollars or little less than two hundred pounds while the stand alone game will go for fifty or more dollars. This game shows a significant victory both for Harmonix and MTV games since this legendary foursome have always been known to be reluctant in releasing their catalogue in any form of digital media. Also, for those who feel that the price is a bit too high, you can expect used The Beatles Rock Band games to be on sale a month or two after the initial release.
The game itself will be released by Harmonix partner Electronic Arts and it will be a whole new game which should douse rumours that this will simply be an expansion to the Rock Band 2. This brand new title will let the players see, hear and feel the music and visual elements that has been part of the group’s mainstream career. Although no confirmation has been made about the group being playable characters in the game, their songs such as Please, Please Me, Let It Be and many other familiar tones are available, plus a whole new package of unreleased, never before heard material that the group has made. This fact was confirmed by Dhani Harrison, the son of the group’s late legendary guitar player, George Harrison. However, fans of the band will be concerned about historical accuracy of the game.
